• The York County Literacy Association is offering an Ornament of Hope created by Charleston artist Anne Worsham Richardson. This year, two "Cedar Waxwing" birds are featured. The annual Holiday Affair will be at Northside Recreation Center, 90 Annafrel St., Rock Hill, from 9:30 a.m. to noon today. The fourth annual Anne Springs Close Greenway Barbecue and Bluegrass Festival will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Dairy Barn, 288 Dairy Barn Lane, Fort Mill.
